From the Dean of Students Office

 The Second National Debate Competition

Under the supervision of the Dean of Students Office, members of the Bethlehem University Debate Club participated in the second National Debate Competition between Palestinian Universities which was organized by Afkar for Educational and Cultural Development. The competition was held on Wednesday, 19 April 2017, at the Arab American University of Jenin. Representing Bethlehem University, students Isra’ Obeid Alla, Manar Ta’mari, and Ali Faraj competed against An Najah National University students by arguing against the statement “This Council Thinks That We Should approve to License for Euthanasia.” Although the Bethlehem University team did not win first place, their performance was professional as they were prepared well, and they based their arguments on proof and cited information.

We thank the Bethlehem University team for their time and effort in preparing for and participating in this critical and intellectual activity.
